These Terms of Service govern your use of Codex Tech services, including Codex Landline, VoIP services, telecommunications services, software platforms and related products and services provided by Codex Tech (Pty) Ltd.

By ordering, activating or using any Codex Tech service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use or continue using the relevant service.

02. Codex Landline Services

Codex Landline provides VoIP-based telecommunications services that allow customers to make and receive calls using an assigned telephone number and supported devices or applications.

Available features may vary depending on the service, subscription, configuration and applicable technical limitations.

03. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information when registering for services and keeping their account information up to date.

Customers are also responsible for protecting their login credentials, devices and account access from unauthorised use.

04. Subscriptions & Payments

Customers are responsible for paying all applicable subscription fees, service charges and usage charges associated with their services.

Payment terms, subscription periods and applicable charges will be communicated to the customer during the ordering and activation process.

05. Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable and consistent services. However, telecommunications and internet-based services may occasionally be affected by network outages, maintenance, technical faults or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We may perform maintenance or upgrades where reasonably necessary to maintain or improve our services.

06. Acceptable Use

Customers may not use Codex Tech services for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or malicious activities.

Services may not be used for activities that interfere with networks, compromise security, abuse other users or violate applicable laws and regulations.

07. Call Recording

Certain services may provide call recording functionality. Where enabled, calls may be recorded and stored as part of the service.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that their use of call recording complies with all applicable laws and that callers are notified where required.

08. Technical Support

Technical support is available for supported Codex Tech services and configurations.

Customers may be required to provide relevant information, screenshots, device details or other information necessary for our support team to investigate and resolve technical issues.

09. Cancellation & Termination

Customers may cancel services in accordance with the applicable cancellation requirements and subscription terms.

10. Privacy & Personal Information

We may collect and process personal information required to provide and manage our services.

Our processing of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy .

11. Suspension of Services

Where reasonably possible, we will communicate with the customer before taking such action.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Codex Tech will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use or temporary unavailability of our services.

Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Codex Tech may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes to our services, business practices or legal requirements.
